Bruno Malsiner, born in 1967 in Ortisei, discovered his love for the mountains as a child while gazing at the local Sassolungo. This early fascination eventually became his career: he has been working as a full-time mountain guide for 15 years. He also shares his expertise as an instructor for the South Tyrol Mountain Rescue and has served for many years as an rescue specialist with the Aiut Alpin helicopter rescue team.
What fascinates Bruno most about his profession is the constant change of seasons, which brings new goals and activities every day. Whether climbing or ski touring, he prefers to be out in his home mountains, the Dolomites. He is particularly drawn to the lesser-known peaks and secluded routes, which have brought him the greatest joy over the years. For him, mountain guiding is much more than a job - it is a daily invitation to share the untouched beauty of nature with his guests.
Bruno’s Favorite Tours:
Lesser-known routes in his home mountains - in both winter and summer.
Bruno’s Motto:
Live in the present, be grateful for the past, and make the future something special.
