Mirko, born in 1991 and coming from Lajen at the entrance of Val Gardena, has always been at home in the mountains and on skis. Following his time as a competitive track and field athlete, he increasingly found his calling on steep alpine faces. He spent most of his time in the Dolomites, first joining the Val Gardena Alpinist Group (GAG) and later the local Mountain Rescue team. For climbing and ski mountaineering, his passion leads him from his beloved Dolomites across the entire Alpine arc and beyond.
His heart beats for tours and days in the mountains far from the crowds - trips that demand a sense of adventure, a spirit of discovery and true physical effort. These are the moments and memories where you fully surrender to the present. Since 2024, he has been a member of the Catores Alpine School, sharing his passion, experience and values with everyone who joins him in the mountains.
