Gregor Demetz, born in 1961, has been working as a mountain guide since 1990. He looks back on over 40 years of experience in climbing and skiing. In his younger years, together with his brother Dieter, Adam Holzknecht, and Karl Vinatzer, he left his mark with several wonderful first ascents on the Meisules dala Biesces.
While he leads guests through rock faces in the summer, Gregor works as a ski instructor during the winter months. His clients especially value his calm, composed nature and his deep knowledge of alpine flora and fauna. Gregor is happiest on unknown, quiet routes away from the crowds. His passion lies in the constant search for new lines and the authentic experience of nature in his home mountains.
