Lucas Pitscheider

IFMGA mountain guide

Lucas, born in 1973, has been working as a mountain guide since 2000 and is an active committee member of the Alpine School. He is a mountain person through and through and loves being out in nature - whether climbing or ski touring. For him, the focus is always on movement and the ultimate feeling of freedom.

You will often find Lucas in the wilder corners of his local mountains, in places where tranquility and serenity are truly tangible, and where everyday life can be experienced from a completely different perspective. In his younger years, he spent a year working as a mountain guide in New Zealand, pursuing his passion for guiding on the other side of the world and gaining invaluable experience.

In winter, Lucas works as a ski instructor at the Ortisei Ski School, where he has been sharing his passion for skiing with his guests with great enthusiasm for many years.
