Flavio dedicated himself to the mountain world at a young age, turning his passion into a profession in 1997. From 2010 to 2016, he served as the President of the South Tyrolean Mountain Guide Association. This role provided him with valuable insights into mountain guiding across the entire Alpine region and beyond, strengthening his conviction: the Catores mountain guides have the privilege of working in one of the world's most versatile and fascinating climbing areas.
Although Flavio has undertaken expeditions to the Andes in Peru, Bolivia, and to Aconcagua, his heart belongs to the great Dolomite faces, such as the Marmolada South Face or the Civetta North Face. Today, he particularly enjoys leading guests into the Odle Group. There, he values the tranquility and the enormous variety of routes that offer the perfect experience for every skill level.
In his private life, Flavio is often drawn to the family hut on Seceda, where he loves spending time with his six grandchildren. It is a matter close to his heart to pass on to the next generation not only the technique of climbing, but above all, the passion and deep respect for nature.
