Program:

Over the three course days, we will cover:

Tour planning: From map reading and weather analysis to avalanche reports – we show you how to properly plan a ski tour.
Practical skills: In the field, you will learn the essential techniques for safe and efficient ascent and descent. We help you better understand snow and its conditions.
Group behavior: Ascents and descents in a team follow specific rules. Together we discuss how to behave safely and efficiently as a group.
Equipment knowledge: Learn everything about the right gear – from skis and skins to full safety equipment.
Companion rescue: We cover the basics of avalanche companion rescue so you know how to act in an emergency.
